Replication package for: "When information conflicts with obligations: the role of motivated cognition"

This replication package includes: 1. ReadMe file 2. The dataset from the survey experiment described in the paper (20220075_Final_Ramadan_Survey.dta/csv). 3. The dataset that includes exam takers’ scores in the College Entrance Exam (20220075_Final_Ramadan_Admin.dta/csv). 4. The Stata do-file which is used to replicate the results (20220075_Ramadan_Code.do). It generates the data for the 4 figures and 8 tables in the main text and appendix of the paper. The replicator should expect the code to run for about 3 minutes. 5. “Additional Files” contains documents on IRB approval, and details about the design and survey questions
